Who We Are
The Corinthian Help Foundation is an initiative of some likeminded people who have a common passion and burden to assist less privileged children around them. These people, who had in the past offered assistance to children and widows in their individual capacities, especially members of the household of faith now consider it appropriate to reach out to other people in order to extend help to more children and widows.
The Corinthians Help Foundation is a non- governmental, non-profit and non-political organization, incorporated in the Year 2016, with a firm commitment to be God’s helping hand stretched outto care for and provide education for the less privileged, and help widows and their children who lack family help.
Why The Corinthians Help Foundation
Lots of children are not in school due to lack of financial resources in spite of the amount of wealth in the household of faith. Many widows are suffering, not for laziness, but because the family burden meant to be carried by two people is being carried by one and nobody seems to care.
The poverty level in the household of faith portends that the children of the kingdom are yet to understand that the resources entrusted to some is meant for distribution to all in the household of faith in particular, and humanity in general.
44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
17 Charge them that are rich in this present world, that they be not highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy;
18 that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the life which is [life] indeed.
1 Now concerning the collection for the saints, as I have given order to the churches of Galatia, even so do ye.
2 Upon the first day of the week let every one of you lay by him in store, as God hath prospered him, that there be no gatherings when I come.
3 And when I come, whomsoever ye shall approve by your letters, them will I send to bring your liberality unto Jerusalem.
15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
17 But whoso hath this world’s good, and seeth his brother has need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
18 My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but indeed and in truth.
For the above scriptural reasons, the Corinthians Help foundation is established to provide succor to the children of the less privileged in the household of faith and widows, and others, to be God’s helping hand in ensuring the fulfillment of their destinies.
The Corinthians Help Foundation is therefore open to the rich, the blessed, the comfortable and everyone seeking to be God’s helping hands in this season.
